WHAT NUMBERS SHOULD I AVOID?
Nobody wants to waste money, especially when they are trying to win money. The best way to avoid losing money is by recklessly selecting numbers. Instead it is important to know which number patterns to avoid, so that you can give yourself an advantage over others.
In the UK National Lottery, which has two drawings per week, a set of six numbers that have won before has a chance of winning 1oo to 1 every hundred plus years. That is a low probability you will face if you choose past winning numbers. Also, avoid betting six consecutive numbers. Six consecutive numbers have never been drawn in any lotto jackpot. Likewise, avoid betting all six numbers from one number group. For example, avoid all single digits, all twenty’s, thirty’s, etc…. The probability of winning by picking all the same set of numbers is practically none.
People often like to pick number combinations. Picking numbers in a combination is similar to picking a stock from the stock market – everyone does it. Examples of commonly used number multiples are 5-10-15-20-25-30.

Since the UK National Lottery has 49 numbers, if you pick numbers 1 through 31, then chances are high that many other people are picking the same set of numbers.
The best numbers to pick are random numbers. Whether or not you pick them from out of a hat or pick the first number that pops into your head, picking numbers randomly gives you the highest probability of winning the lotto.
