The UK National Lottery conducted a survey recently of some 2,000 past lottery winners. The results are astonishing. The following are some secrets that worked for these winners and may work for you.
The consensus was that there is no secret behind picking those winning numbers. Actually, 40 percent of lottery millionaires use Lucky Dip and the rest choose their own numbers, either randomly off the top of their head or a collection of favorite numbers. Additionally, 38 percent of the winners stated that they believed in their gut that they would win.

Surprisingly, the study reported that one of the biggest challenges that faced winners was holding onto their tickets until they arrive to the National Lottery operator Camelot’s offices to get their ticket verified, before receiving their awards. Thus, 24 percent of the winners hid their tickets in a bag, purse or wallet. While 14 percent choose to sleep with the lucky ticket under their pillow. The remaining kept their tickets in either their underwear, bible or budgie cage, unaware of the lottery results.
Finally, 51 percent of the winners surveyed considered themselves to be lucky people. This leads us to the question of whether or not winning stems from positive thinking.
