However, you never know and when that day does come, hopefully, you will be prepared on the steps that you need to take. The following are some guidelines on what to do after you have won the UK National Lottery or the EuroMillions Lottery.
First, double check the date and the numbers on your play slip(s). It’s also a good idea to check more than one source if you missed the drawing announcement. Next, it is imperative that when you do win that you make sure that your play slip(s) is signed. If you play slip(s) are unsigned, then it means that the ticket belongs to the bearer. I cannot stress enough that you want to make sure that your ticket is signed.
It is a good idea to notify the official people as to your winning numbers. Don’t let time run out. You do not want to miss the deadline for claiming your winnings; otherwise the winnings could be rolled over. Then you are out of luck and money.
